Damian Lillard’s breathtaking buzzer-beater three-pointer was not old enough to fade into the obscurity, but then came Los Angeles Clippers and now they are hogging the limelight after the game-5.

The reason being they are punching above their weights, and doing so against the hot-favorites, and one of the most talented squads ever to grace the court in NBA.

Suddenly, the Golden State Warriors are struggling. Their chinks wide open in front of the whole world. Stephen Curry strugglun for the killer blows and for the post-season consistency. All this and then there is a small matter of playing without DeMarcus Cousins. Steve Kerr may not have faced such a torrid period in the playoffs as a Warriors head coach.

The Dubs are still favortes though, to at least win this series. But they can’t play like that. Not what they showed in game-2 when they threw away a 31-point lead. If they lose, that was the game. If they win and don’t have the legs to face Houston Rockets, that was the game to be blamed.

Regular Season Record-
Los Angeles Clippers: W-48, L-34
Golden State Warriors: W-57, L-25

Los Angeles Clippers:
Injured – None. Head coach Doc Rivers has no injury concerns ahead of this match.
Questionable – None at the moment.
Suspended – None.

Golden State Warriors:
Injured – Warriors head coach Steve Kerr confirmed that he doesn’t expect big-man DeMarcus Cousins to return in the post-season. It’s a huge blow as Warriros are relatively short in that department. The former New Orleans Pelicans Center suffered a thigh injury in game-2 against Los Angeles Clippers. In addition, Damian Jones (chest injury) is still on the sidelines.
Questionable – None.
Suspended – None.
